Welcome to my first blogpost without a purpose...

First of all, I am the proud aunt of a new cat!!!  Yep...  After months of threats, Ash surprised the coach with a dang kitten.  I'm not much of a cat person myself & I'm sure our sweet friend Andy will shudder at the news.... But he is pretty stinking cute!!!

The news of Philip Lutzenkirchen has weighed heavy on my heart all week.  I even sat down to write about it but it was just too hard to find words.  He's the same age as my sister & I couldn't even wrap my head around someone telling me I lost her.  Being a sports radio junkie, some people calling in this week did bother me, though.  It seems like countless people were offended when someone mentioned the importance of wearing seatbelts.  I never had the honor of meeting Lutz, but I have read enough to know what a good man he was & how important it was for him to make his mark on the world.... We lost a great man too soon but we can make his death mean something.
SO PEOPLE PLEASE WEAR YOUR SEATBELTS!

I'm scratching my head over Stoops taking in Mizzou's prodigal son this week.  Dorial Beckham Green was thrown off of the Mizzou squad after showing them he's a complete thug & woman beater.  Stoops' win over my Tide clearly has him still a little drunk because no way this turns out well.

I'm putting my house on the market next week so I'll be scarce during the silly season!  But I cannot wait for football season, y'all!!!  57 more days & The Tide rolls again!!!  And I really do need some football in my life....

Iron Bowl Problems

F or the last month, I've been struggling with a really difficult life decision.  I'm not talking about where to plan my next vacation or what color to paint my kitchen, y'all.  This is MUCH MORE IMPORTANT than that....  See, I am the proud owner of a couple of Iron Bowl tickets & I've been really torn about what I should do with them.  Before you roll your eyes and label this a first world problem, hear me out & you'll understand why it's been so hard deciding should I stay or should I go. Reason #1 I really hate Auburn, y'all.  This is not your typical run of the mill kinda hate either.  I despise everything about them.  I hate their fans.  They're truly the most annoying fanbase in all of college football.  I hate the way they not only think God is a football fan but he is, in fact, an auburn fan.  I hate the way they make signs saying things like, "God Thing" while guzzling bourbon and cursing at opposing fanbases.  I hate that t

Rammer Jammer~A Video Diary

H ave you ever been around that snotty nosed kid that won't accept not getting their way?  You know the one I'm talking about.  The little brat that puts his fingers in his ears while screaming, "I CAN'T HEAR YOU! I CAN'T HEAR YOU!".  Imagine about 200 of those little assholes in head to toe orange and blue.  But instead of the 'I can't hear you' mantra, they manage to come up with something even more annoying.  The auburn fight song.
