3 Reasons To Watch Bama Baseball This Season!

Color me impressed!  Recently, I found a new Bama sport to obsess over.  I know... Shocking.  However, The University of Alabama Baseball program has it going on this year!!! After attending several games at "The Joe" this season, I've been blown away by the fan friendly experience.  And you don't have to be an avid baseball fan to enjoy a day at the ballpark in Tuscaloosa these days!  Here's 3 reasons why every Bama fan should come experience some Bama Baseball this season:

THE NEW FREE SEATING
Backed up against the new Sarah Patterson Champions Plaza is a new terraced picnic area.  Fans can now watch our boys from right field free of charge! And that isn't the best part.  Prefer having an adult beverage... Or 3 while watching your baseball?  You're in luck.  It's totally okay here.  So whether you like to grab a few friends & ice down a cooler of beer on Friday night or maybe enjoy a few mimosas on a gorgeous Alabama Saturday afternoon, you're welcome here.  Fans have set up some pretty spectacular tailgates already this season & judging from the screams & the music I've heard, it's a pretty awesome experience!  Here are the guidelines for the new 'tailgating section':

SUNDAY FUN DAY
I've spent the last 2 Sundays witnessing this & I gotta admit, it's a pretty heartwarming affair.  After every Sunday home game, parents & children are invited to the field where the kids line up & run the bases.  As if this isn't enough to make any American kid have sweet dreams, the entire team takes a knee in right field where everyone is welcome to meet the players & get autographs.  This alone has been making a lot of dads rockstars & given a lot of moms pretty spectacular photo ops.

HUNGRY? THEY BRING YOU FOOD RIGHT TO YOUR SEAT
I'm totally serious.  If you want to indulge in the concession stand treats, there's a website you can go to place an order and they bring it to you! No more long lines. No more missed plays.  I have to admit, I'm a little more amazed with this concept than I should be.  But what defines America more than baseball?  A bunch of fans too dang lazy to walk their chubby back sides to the concession stands, that's who!  'Merica!

I have a lot to learn about the game of baseball.  But I guarantee you that you don't have to be a fan of the game to have a wonderful time at Sewell-Thomas Stadium.  And as an added bonus, the team is showing a lot of promise coming off back to back series wins to start the season!  Tickets are always available at the gate & chairback seating is $10, general admission $8, and youth seating as low as $4.  Of course, don't forget about the free tailgating section!

I sure hope to see you at The Joe this season!!! Thanks for stopping by, y'all!!!
